Bollywood Dance Party- Afternoon Workshop

What is Bollywood you ask? Bollywood dancing is the commercial name for modern Indian dance. This unique style of dance gets its roots from classical and folk dances of India such as Bharatanatyam and Kathak, which have been modernized and converted into what’s now called Bollywood.
The instructors will be guiding you through what Bollywood is exactly about! One can expect to learn an amazing high energy routine filled with slow-fast movements, graceful gestures, and basic Bollywood moves. Basic hand gestures and their names, used in Bollywood and derived from classical styles will also be taught. Main hops, traveling styles, slides, turns and much more will be focused on during the warm-up and used in choreography.
